Charles Anderson has been involved with ecological, stream and wetland restoration for almost 40 years.  He started his career with USDA NRCS and served 32 years.  He started as a Soil Conservationist and culminated as the director/government liaison at Pilot View, RC&D in Winston-Salem, NC.  In 2011, Charles began a new career as the Project Developer/Funding Liaison at Resource Institute.  Additionally, Charles is a licensed real estate agent and broker. He serves on the board of directors of three real estate and economic development companies

Through Charles’ leadership, Resource Institute has restored over 1 million feet of stream and over 200 acres of wetlands.  Resource Institute has also created 93 miles of Blueway and 20 miles of Greenway.  Resource Institute has also trained over 6,000 professionals in Natural Stream Design methodology and other natural resource subjects.  To date, Resource Institute has successfully managed and implemented 140 projects.
